안녕하세요, 조이조입니다.

이번에 미국 메탈 밴드 'Fleetburner'의 리드 기타리스트 Kevin Storm(nft 활동명: CR24TI7E)과 뜻깊은 콜라보 작품을 선보이게 되었습니다.

저는 비주얼 파트와 보컬, 가사에 참여하였고, 작품은 큐레이션 NFT 플랫폼, 파운데이션(Foundation.app)에 리스팅되어 있습니다. 인디밴드를 그만둔 후 거의 10년 만에 메탈 뮤지션과 일하게 되어 감회가 무척이나 새롭습니다.

[About The Visual Art & Lyrics]

'The Invisible Voyage' is a large-scale acrylic work drawn in 2012 and became the motif for the lyrics and vocals of this collaboration work. Humans exist on finite earth and have passed through the same space for many generations. Their traces seem to have disappeared at first glance, but in reality, they have created an invisible aura. What dark and vivid illusions mean is the condensing of all lost emotions.

'보이는, 보이지 않는 여행'은 2012년에 그렸던 대형 작품으로, 이번 콜라보레이션 작품을 위한 가사와 보컬의 모티브가 되었다. 인간은 유한한 땅덩어리 위에 존재하며 수 세대에 걸쳐 같은 공간을 스쳐갔고, 그 흔적들은 일견 사라진 듯 보이지만 도시마다 보이지 않는 아우라를 만들어 내었다. 짙은 환영이 의미하는 것은 모든 사라진 감정들의 응축이다.

"the solid beneath our feet, the bedwork for our every movement in life, the base upon which we build our structures, such was the building of this work. Layer by layer, back and forth towards movement and meaning. Pure experiment transformed to meaning". Recorded in Cubase 10, ESP BW-1, Neural DSP and custom made soundscapes.
