반짝이는 베니스의 청록 런더너의 막간 이태리 여행 │ 반짝이는 베니스의 청록 아름답게 낡아간다. 새로워질 것을 강제하지 않는다. 베니스의 크고 작은 섬들이 우리에게 보여 준 삶의 자세였다. 베니스를 둘러싼 거대한 청록의 물결은 이 낡은 도시를 1초도 쉬지 않고 넘보고 있었다. 청록은 도시의 외벽에 스며들어 하나씩 둘씩, 소금기에 해진 칠과 무른 흙을 거두어 간다. 그럼에도 앙상한 벽돌을 훤히 드러낸 건물들은 현재를 초라하게 여기지 않는다. 그리고 그네들이 그렇게 존재하듯 누구에게도 새로워질 것을 요구하지 않는다. 다만 쓰러지지 않도록 수면 아래 보이지 않는 기초를 이따금씩 보강할 뿐이다. 로마와 피렌체도 멋진 도시였지만, 이번 여행 중 마음의 고삐가 탁 풀리는 편안함을 느낀 곳은 베니스가 처음이었다. 일상으로 돌아가기 전 마지.. 더보기
