Joy's Workspace 썸네일형 리스트형 2007_Blue butterfly 푸른 나비. 지금은 날짜나 시간까지는 잘 쓰지 않지만 2007년 경에는 열심히 썼던 것 같다. 언젠가 멜번의 한 자연사 박물관에서 수도 없이 유리벽에 붙어있는 박제된 푸른 나비들을 본 적이 있었다. 개미나 여타 못생긴 곤충들처럼 살아 있는 채로 유리벽 안에 날아다니고 있었다면 더 좋았을 걸.. 형언할 길 없이 아름다운 대상은 반쯤 추상으로 그려지고, 단순히 사물로서 아름다운 것은 관찰하다가 세밀하게 그리게 되는 것 같다. 더보기 Raw 숨이 참아지지 않고 터져나온다. 어쩔 수 없는 생날것. 가만히 있자니 여간 답답한 것이 아니다. 더보기 2010 TOKYO DESIGN FESTA Reveiw from DF This is the first exhibition that Joy Jo & Hoy Jo show their artworks together even though they are in same family. This is tiny heaven, Where stories of hidden flowers is getting sweeter with the festive gestures. + + This work started fro.. 더보기 Camels in desert camels in desert _ink on paper_27×39cm_2008 나름 사연이 많은 그림이다. 처음 멜번에서 거리 전시를 시작한 날, 어떤 중국 계열의 아저씨가 와서는 낙타를 그려줄 수 없겠냐고 부탁했다. 그 아저씨와는 결국 연락이 잘 안되어서 그림을 줄 수 없었는데, 어느 날 길에서 우연히 마주쳤다. 아저씨는, 그림은 필요없다면서 그림값을 손에 쥐어주고는 가버렸다. 이 후에 거리 전시를 할 때도 이 그림이 좋아서 도네이션을 하고 가는 사람들이 좀 있었고.. 결국 작은 갤러리를 통해서 팔게 되었다. 보스니아 출신 아주머니였다고 들었다. 거리 전시에서처럼, 직접 만나 사연을 듣고 이야기를 나누는 것이 좋은데 갤러리를 통하면 그럴 수가 없어서 아쉬웠다. 하지만 어떤 경로를 통해서든, 꼭 이 그림.. 더보기 Feeling of Melbourne Feeling of Melbourne_ink, marker on paper_18×26cm_2007 멜번 땅 밟고 처음 그렸던 그림. 정감 있는 건물들 위로 언제나 날아 다니던 갈매기들. 처음엔 어찌나 이뻐보이던지. 더보기 이전 1 ··· 10 11 12 13 14 다음
